Green, Green, Green!

Everywhere you turn someone is touting another 'green' tip or idea, or promoting a 'green' product. We are bombarded left and right. There must be a million tips, ideas and/or products specifically geared towards going green. Literally one million? Let's find out together. We'll start with a dozen tips meant to protect and preserve Mother Earth. We'll keep adding new ideas and tips as we find them and we'll organize them in a useful fashion. Go ahead, send us a few. Let's see if we can get 1 million useful ways to 'Go Green.'

40. Meat Tenderizer...Dilute the juice of 1 lemon in ¼ cup of water, pour over beef and let set 1 hour before cooking.

38. Spray vegetables with 1 part distilled vinegar to 3 parts water, rinse. Eco-friendly way to remove pesticides.

13. Use stainless steel water bottles instead of plastic, refill with filtered water.
